On August 15, 2024, the kick-off meeting for the formulation of the group standard "Technical Specifications for Steam Boilers with Water Volume Less Than 30L," primarily drafted by the Shunde Testing Institute of Guangdong Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, was successfully held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Mogan Mountain, Deqing, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province.
The group standard meeting was organized by the China Special Equipment Safety and Energy Conservation Promotion Association and co-hosted by Zhejiang LIJU Thermal Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. Attendees included experts and leaders from the Shunde, Meizhou, and Huizhou Testing Institutes of the Guangdong Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, the Shenzhen Institute of Quality and Safety Inspection and Testing, the Zhejiang Institute of Special Equipment Science, the Sichuan Special Equipment Inspection Institute, the Shanghai Institute of Special Equipment Supervision and Inspection Technology, the Jiangsu Special Equipment Safety Supervision and Inspection Institute, and the Shandong Special Equipment Inspection Group, as well as leaders from several small steam boiler manufacturers.
The meeting featured intense discussions on how to better develop and establish standards for small steam boilers while complying with boiler safety regulations, with participants sharing their views.
After the meeting, attendees visited LIJU's headquarters to tour the WCB water-cooling premixed condensing steam boiler intelligent manufacturing production line. LIJU’s Chairman He Junnan, Vice General Manager Wang Jianping, and Chief Technical Engineer Zhao Rongxin warmly received the visiting guests.
